Zion National Park

On the way to Zion Canyon

Zion National Park was one of my top destinations when I started west this year.  It is a beautiful place.  You ride up the canyon on shuttles because the traffic got to be too much for the road and there are stops where you can hike or climb to a good viewpoint.  At the last stop is the Riverside hike where you can go up to a point that the canyon narrows to 20 feet across and you are walking in the river.   Not too many words this time just see the beauty.

Cactus pears sometimes sold in Wegmans!

Canyon begins to narrow.

Today I took a ride up a different section of Zion National Park called Kolob Canyon.  It is a 5 mile drive into what look like ordinary hills but you round a corner and this appears .
